Meet Carleigh Tenzin L.Ac EAMP. RV.
It’s Nice to meet you!
Carleigh Tenzin is a Doctoral Candidate and Master of Acupuncture who passionately helps moms get their bellies back after pregnancy. After spending nearly a decade working in complimentary medical clinics, Carleigh discovered through clinical observation, the latest trends and research what non-surgical treatments were most powerful at restoring skin tone, texture and elasticity while also addressing the stubborn mom pooch including C-Section scars—and it doesn’t involve surgery, weird creams or questionable supplements. It’s by harnessing the body and skin’s own ability to self-repair.
Carleigh has taken the best of all her experience and created her own clinic- a waterfront sanctuary in the heart of downtown Edmonds, dedicated to moms as a refuge. In addition to her extensive Eastern Medical training, Carleigh has her masters in RoHun Therapy and is an Ordained Minister. She believes success in her practice comes not only from exceptional physical results but from human-to-human heart centered care for the women who play exhausting roles in life.
Carleigh holds a BS in Health Science from the Evergreen State College, a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from ITEA, and is a Doctoral Candidate at the Pacific College of Health and Science.
“I struggled with anxiety, plantar fasciitis, sciatica and felt a bit lost in the world. I had questions and wanted real solutions to my health and emotional concerns. When I visited my primary care doctor they just nodded and handed over a prescription. No answers, no solutions, in fact, the visit made me feel a bit worse- like there wasn’t hope medically for me. Instead, I sought other therapies. Through trial and error, I bumped into Classical Five Element Acupuncture. This style of Acupuncture (I have tried many) significantly impacted my anxiety, physical pain from sports injuries, and made me feel like me again. There was no better gift at that time in my life- I was heard, I was seen, I was cared for, and I felt like myself again.”
Why do you practice Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is Amazing!
Well, besides my love for Chinese Medical theory which is extremely fascinating. I wish to extend the same relief from pain I received from acupuncture to other people suffering. I hope they can experience relief from physical and emotional pain. I hope through my work, other people can live a happier and easier existence.
